So, last night, I’m doing my stats homework and I finish a problem and check my answer in the back of the book. The book says the answer is .81. The answer I got was .09. Not even close. So I checked with my roommate to see what he got. He got the answer that was in the book. What the heck?! So he tries to start explaining it to me and then I realize that he read the problem wrong and that the book is actually wrong based on the question asked. I thought the book was never wrong? How can that slip by? If the book is wrong how are people supposed to do it right and know that they did without just trusting themselves? I checked with the professor and he confirmed that the book was wrong. That’s awful.
